Home Link
The Home Link Team works with children, young people and families across South Ayrshire in nursery, primary and secondary sectors of education. A Team Around the Child (TAC) may make a request for assistance to the Home Link Service.
Home Link Workers support children and young people to cope with difficulties which may affect their ability to achieve and attain at school. The team works with young people and families with a variety of issues and needs.
These may include:
- Coping with changes (such as transition periods)
- Relationship difficulties
- Anxiety
- Separation, divorce or bereavement
- Bullying
- Sleep hygiene
- Attendance
