Pupil Support (ASFL Teachers)

The Additional Support for Learning (ASFL) Team is made up of teachers who specialise in working with pupils with Additional Support Needs within mainstream schools. ASFL Staff may work directly with a young person, or support them by providing additional specialist resources or training for staff as well as advice and support for families. ASFL teachers may work across a number of schools during the week and are allocated centrally. ASFL teachers are also involved in the identification of learning barriers such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia as well as providing advice and training for colleagues on how best to meet learners needs.
