Cooling tower notification
If you control non-domestic premises you must ensure that you notify the South Ayrshire Council of any cooling tower or evaporative condenser (notifiable devices) on the premises.
Notification must be in writing (including by electronic means) on a form approved by the Health & Safety Executive.
You must notify South Ayrshire Council of any changes to the notification information within one month of the change. Also, if the device ceases to be a notifiable device you must tell South Ayrshire Council as soon as possible.

What happens next?
Before considering an application South Ayrshire Council must have received all the required supporting documentation before the application is considered lodged.
It is in the public interest that the South Ayrshire Council must process your application before it can be granted. We would expect to process your application within 5 days. If you have not heard from us within a reasonable period, please contact us.
