South Ayrshire Council's Property Maintenance team win 'Best Performer' in APSE Performance Network Awards
South Ayrshire Council are delighted to announce that our Property Maintenance team has been awarded 'Best Performer' in the Building Maintenance category at the APSE Performance Network Awards.
The Performance Network Awards reward the best performing and most improved local authorities across the UK for their achievements, and recognise public sector excellence.
The team were presented with the prestigious award in a high-profile ceremony in Blackpool on Thursday 2 December.
Councillor Ian Cochrane, South Ayrshire Council's Portfolio Holder for Environment said: "Winning 'Best Performer' in the Building Maintenance category is a testament to the continuous hard work and dedication of everyone in our Property Maintenance team.
"They go above and beyond to make a difference to South Ayrshire residents and I'm really pleased they have received the recognition they deserve. I'd like to congratulate everyone in the service for this well-deserved achievement."
APSE Chief Executive, Paul O'Brien, said, "Performance information and benchmarking data is needed now more than ever. In the face of extraordinary external pressures, each finalist has demonstrated an astounding level of resilience and ingenuity.
