The proposals for the creation of 2 beach volleyball courts within the grounds of Kyle Academy, Ayr are being shared to provide the local community and interested parties with an opportunity to view and comment on the proposed plans.
Due to the nature and value of the works, the courts have been assessed as permitted development by South Ayrshire Council Planning Department which means an application for planning consent is not required. Please note the courts will not be floodlit.
These courts are being developed in collaboration with Scottish Volleyball and this is an exciting opportunity to provide championship standard courts within South Ayrshire. We are hoping to have the courts completed by Spring 2022.
