Prestwick Pool - Gym Refurbishment

We are excited to be able to release details of our upcoming gym refurbishment at Prestwick Swimming Pool.

This work will be starting very soon and allows us to double the size of the current gym. We have worked with industry experts at Life Fitness to design a new space that has all levels of fitness in mind and offers much more to our members. 

Due to the size of the facility and the nature of the works to configure the indoor spaces, the whole facility will be closed from Sunday 24th April. We expect that the closure will run until mid-August 2022. During this period of time all of our Troon and Prestwick gym members will have access to all facilities. All customers will receive an email on Wednesday 6th April regarding this and options available to each member.

We've put below a summary of the changes to expect when Prestwick Pool reopens in August 2022 and we will share updates from the site as the works progress!

• Refurbished gym area
• Removal of existing staff and store and foyer toilets area, to increase gym space
• Removal of existing poolside staff area, to accomodate new toilets to service gym area
• Addition of accessible toilet to rear of reception
• Staff area relocated and female changing slighty reconfigured to facilitate
• Additional changing cubicles in male change
