South Ayrshire Housing Need and Demand Assessment 2021-2026

The Housing Need and Demand Assessment (HNDA) is produced every five years to ensure housing in South Ayrshire reflects demand.

Consultation on our Draft HNDA for the period 2021-2026 has now closed.  Feedback received will be used to develop the Local Housing Strategy as well as future Local Development Plans, and could be used to inform:

• Decisions about new build housing development
• The type of housing being built and which needs this housing should meet
• How we respond to homelessness
• How we and our partners meet the housing needs of people with particular needs, including people with disabilities and older people
