Diamond wedding celebrations for Wallace and Margaret

Wallace and Margaret Hay have just celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary. 

The couple first met at the Sunday band shows which took place at Ayr Pavilion. 

They were married at St James Church in Ayr and now live in Coylton.

Wallace worked for NCR while Margaret was a nurse at Ayrshire Hospice until she retired.

The couple have two children and five grandchildren. 

South Ayrshire Provost, Helen Moonie congratulated the couple via video, a card and flowers were also delivered.
