Admission to primary schools
Information about how to apply for a primary 1 school catchment place, request a placing request, and defer entry
From the start of the new term in August 2023 Cairn Primary School, Maybole and Gardenrose Primary School, Maybole will merge as part of the new Maybole Community Campus and will be named Culzean Primary School and Early Years Centre which will be located on the current Carrick Academy site. However, when registering you should select your current catchment school i.e. Cairn Primary School or Gardenrose Primary School.
The application process for P1 registration will open on Monday 16 January.
Register for Primary 1
Every child requires to register for education at their catchment school.
