Ayrshire Council on Alcohol

The Ayrshire Council on Alcohol office in Ayr is now closed and all outreach clinics have been suspended. All individuals have been contacted and are being offered telephone counselling. The service will continue to accept new referrals who will be assessed and offered support via telephone.

Meal Assists

Care and Share is currently closed until further notice. Riverside Community Trust (Care & Share) - Food parcels are being offered to those in need, and contact being made by phone to establish what other help is required. Hotline numbers: 07421 242996 or 07421 242863

NHS Addictions Service

All group activities have stopped with immediate effect. New referrals are being accepted with initial screening taking place via telephone. Face to face support is being offered based on need and telephone contact is being provided for non-urgent reviews.

South Ayrshire Recovery Activities (SARA)

All recovery groups and activities (including Café Hope) in South Ayrshire are cancelled with immediate effect and until further notice.

The Peer Group Facilitators will continue to be available during this time for telephone support. The team are organising daily online check-ins / recovery meetings 7 days a week at 10am and 4pm using the Zoom Meeting platform.
