How do I apply
All applications are now online and all you need do is click on th relevant link on the table above, you can then join and pay online. Please note on your first visit you will need to bring supporting documentation with you. Or if you wish to pay as you go click here Pay as You Go Access to Leisure Join Now again please note you will need to bring supporting documentation on your first visit.
How does it work?
For our pay as you go customers you will get a log in to our online booking system which will automatically charge you the reduced rate you qualify for, each time you book, or if booking by phone give your name and address and again the discount will be applied automatically. For those with a membership you will be charged the reduced rate automatically every month which will be explained to you when you purchase. Any activity not included in the membership package you choose will be charged at the reduced rate you qualify for.
An Access to Leisure membership can only be confirmed as active once the correct documentation has been supplied as proof of eligibility i.e. documentation to support your application under the correct category and proof of address within South Ayrshire.
Acceptable proof of address includes:
- current driving licence
- current gas/electricity/water/rates bill
- current bank statement
Qualifying criteria and supporting documentation
Access to Leisure Memberships are valid for a period of 12 months from date of issue. Check the categories below to see which category is the most relevant for you and to determine what supporting evidence you need to provide on your first visit after you have purchased or applied for your membership. You will need to supply supporting documentation again in one years time to verify nothing has changed.
Proof of address within South Ayrshire is required for all categories.

Terms and conditions
- Only one application allowed per person and non-transferrable.
- Applications must be supported by appropriate documentation including proof of address.
- Children under the age of eight will not be admitted to the swimming pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Participants must adhere to the terms and conditions of use at Sport, Leisure and Golf facilities.
- Misuse of the Access to Leisure card scheme may result in the membership being suspended.
- The Access to Leisure membership is valid for a period of 12 months from date of issue. Subsequent renewals of the membership require the resubmission of supporting documentation.
- Should your circumstances change during your membership you must notify SlgAdminTeam@south-ayrshire.gov.uk immediately failure to do so will result in additional charges being applied and invoiced to you.
